Personal Ministries
Welcome to the Personal Ministries Department of the Stoke Seventh-day Adventist church in the UK.
Our Personal Ministries department is here to cater for the spiritual growth of Stoke-on-Trent and to spearhead all the soul winning efforts by the church.
Our Lord Jesus Christ gave all of us the commission to “Go Therefore” and spread the gospel to all nations and every people. As the personal ministries department we endeavour to provide the resources and training expertise to facilitate the efforts by the church to fulfil this commission. The Lord Jesus Christ observed that there were fewer workers than the work required in Luke 10:2 it says He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
How many of us are willing to take up the mission field which is the post-modern contemporary society in which we live in? In this day of technological advancement and sophistry are we willing to give time and effort to God’s cause? The Lord is calling for those who will invest time and effort in his work today just as He asked in the days of the Prophet Isaiah. In chapter 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
Can we still hear the voice of the Lord Jesus pleading with us today? Is that sweet soft voice of the Lord Jesus speaking to you as individuals or as a group to do His service? What will your answer be today? Will the church of God respond emphatically to the call of the lord like Isaiah saying, “Here am I. Send Me!”
